Late 2019 deer season, I bought a set of Vortex Diamondback 8x32 binoculars to take on the last hunts of the year and have a good set to scout with later and then bird watch and wildlife watch in the off season. I really wanted the HD version but it wasn’t available as fast as I wanted at the time. So I settled on the non-HD version.
Long story short, I really do love them. Awesome detail, focus and overall feel. What I love most is the size and weight, or lack there of. The only thing I don’t care for is there seems to be a reflective halo around the field of view through them. But it’s something I can live with.
Have any of you used the HD and non HD versions of Diamondback binos? All I read and see around is that the HD binos are the way to go and the ONLY way to go. Are they really worth the upgrade? Thanks!
