Hey hoping to find someone that may have experience with one or both of these waders (or open to others as well)

I hunt a few areas that require waders (creeks that have too many down trees to navigate a boat or kayak down and are deeper than my hip waders)

high and dry breathable Waders
Sitka waders

Anyone have experience with these? How loud is the material? I would rather wear them the entire time hunting vs removing and carrying them.

anyone else deer hunt in waders?
Thanks

Frog toggs amphib neoprene waders. I don't hunt all day in them, but hike in and out when I need to. Kinda warm, but not stuffy.cheap for neoprene waders.

I hunt alot of swamps and I have a decent pair(not expensive but not cheapest) of Winchester neoprene waders and I have had them for about 7 years and still going strong with several patches from the occasional stick or briars but as long as the boots on the waders are decent you shouldn't have a problem! They do make some that are supposed to be puncture proof but they get pretty loud so I would stick with neoprene if I was worried about how loud they are and get a additional patch kit just in case!!

Sorry should of mentioned don’t want neoprene

I got a pair of Yoder chaps on some dryshod boots they work good. I wear them down until I get to the wet stuff then back down to climb up..... not terribly loud (nylon not neoprene)
Btw they were less than $160 got them at Red Fern Hound supply & they were custom made , still had them at my door in under 2 weeks.

I duck hunt a bunch and ive been interested in the new high and drys.

No experience with that exact pair of waders but they would be louder when cold. I would think they would be similar to any goretex rain wear for noise.

I have never used that brand of breathable but I have used Simms, Hodgman, Cabelas and Orvis breathables and none of them would I consider quiet enough to bow hunt in without some background noise (wind, rain and the like). When I need waders for hunting I always go to neoprene but I hunt in the north so air and water temps are usually cold.

I’m from Michigan as well, was going to put a leafy suit over them In hope to make them more quiet but maybe they won’t be much of an option

I've been eyeing a pair of Dan's 5-star froglegs for several years now. Just don't find myself in too many situations where I need hip waders. Not enough swamp/water to cross where I hunt. The other pair I was considering was yoder chaps. Both the Dan's and Yoders are sewn into a boot of choice and sealed for waterproofing.

I have those Dan’s froglegs and they are awesome, even if you’re just busting brush

I just need higher for a few spots

I should have come here for advise prior to getting my Lacrosse neoprene waders. They're china made and mixed reviews from what I read. If they don't work, I'll have to try Dan's waders. They look just as nice.

I bought some neoprene Lacrosse brush tuff's. Then tested them out in my parents pool after season. Very small leak so I took them back.

I'm still looking but I want something insulated for late season Wisconsin ducks.

I just broke down and ordered high n dry size 11 breathable waders after wading in the 20s and having about 7 wet spots on my ole 100 dollar amphibs.

Should be here Saturday. I'll let yall know.
Very interested in these. Debating between these and their neoprene. Just wondering which one would be more durable. I think I'll email them.
