Webbing tether

Does anyone think that a saddle company will ever make a webbing tether similar to the old trophy line? I would love to see a 1.5 inch webbing tether with a sewn eye and an attached adjustable style hook or carabiner all in one.

I would think it’s a safety risk for companies (obviously less so for a saddle because it prevents a fall not arresting it) because Mose webbing options are much lower stretch than a good dynamic rope.

Although it would be easier to add buckles/adjusters to it, you could do a titanium triglide ($15-$20) instead of a ropeman ($45+) would be interesting to try. Less bulk, I have some nylon tubular (the stretchiest type of webbing) I may whip one up this weekend

FWIW most of the commercial tether options for saddle hunting are static rope, not dynamic.

Right but even oplux has the same relative elongation to tubular nylon webbing right around 5% at breaking.
