Webbing to AmSteel?

I know normally rope to webbing is a big no no, but is girth-hitching webbing to an AmSteel bridge loop okay? I was planning on using a carabiner on the other side and would prefer to only use one carabiner. If girth-hitching is not okay is there any method to safely attach tubular webbing to a AmSteel bridge loop?

The bridge loop isn’t made of am steel. Every saddle made is nylon webbing and the am steel bridge is spliced onto it.

Gotcha, I usually just girth hitch my fleece saddles bridge around the gathered ends.
