There's a pretty good herd of elk in the northern lower peninsula to the east of me here. I've almost hit a couple of them with the truck at night driving home after hockey in Gaylord. Then in the U.P. there's a decent amount of moose although there's no season for them. Definitely don't want to hit one of those dudes with your vehicle.

Yes - Wisco is the cheese state - and there is a herd here as well in the Clam Lake area that you can apply to hunt, but think there are only 10 or so tags available, some to the public, and I believe some of those go to the tribes as well (and 1 raffled though the RMEF), so 200 available tags sounds glorious! :tearsofjoy:
 
My dad just mentioned to me to get an elk tag for PA. I don't know. I'm not lucky.

You can draw an elk tag that’s one in a million yet I can’t draw a damn doe tag but once in 11 years haha
