What’s in Your Quiver?

GrizzlyStick Momentum 400s, Ethics inserts, 200 gr single bevel Samurai heads, 5 inch A&A fletch.
670 grains, 27% foc.

Nice set up. I've been using victory vap 250's for a few years & love 'em. About
to switch up this year & beef them up more to get around the specs you posted.
Plain to use the ethic inserts with 175 gr cutthroats & feathers.

Have you had any shot's with those yet?

This will be my 1st season with these so I have not yet shot a deer with them.
But when I'm stump shooting, I can tell that they hit harder than my old arrow...which wasn't a slouch. Old arrows are 545 gr and 18% foc.
I'm confident that these new arrows will preform even better than the old arrows.

28" Gold Tip Hunter Pro 340 w/ uni-bushing and accu-lite insert + 10gr FACT wt
125gr QAD Exodus broadheads
3” Ozark Target Maxx feathers and 3.75" wrap
Green Nocktural G nocks
438gr and 14.6% FOC

Just received some Sirius Apollo 200's to build for this year. Just waiting on feathers to arrive.

Going to be 28" c2c sirius apollo 200 spine
220 gr SS ethic insert & sleeve
250 gr Cuttthroats
Four 2" trueflight shield cut feathers
& nocturnals that strobe red/blue.

Going to be about 100-200 grains heavier then I originally wanted, but I want to keep the foc as
high as possible. Going to be a fun experiment. I typically destroy, at least 5-6 arrows every season
in hogs. Hoping these run through better then my trusty 'ol 550 grain victory vaps, which I love by the way.

Easton axis 5mm 340 with a 100 grain muzzy trocar. A lil heavier from the Easton Hexx 340 with Swhacker combo I used the past several years. Been deadly and fast.

Easton axis 300, 75gr insert, nockturnal, 4 aae max stealth, evolution broadheads(both jekyl and Hyde)

Older thread I know, but I was trying to research those Walmart Mossy Oak arrows. They’ve been my favorite since I started shooting 3-4 years ago. I needed another set and can’t find them in any Walmart. I did find them on eBay (99% sure they’re the same) and ordered a dozen for $94. This archery shop listed them as Victory mossy oaks, but they look xactly the same. This time I’m having them cut to 29.5” and I’ll add my 100 grain inserts. With 100gr head I’m at about 488 grains and love love them……don’t remember the %, but my FOC is also favorable like this. Btw-I don’t shoot fast enough to add another 100. One thing I like about them besides how well they fly, is how slick the shaft surface is. It almost feels waxed it’s so slick. .350 spine

Those Mossy Oak arrows are Victory V-Force Gamers that are rebranded for Walmart. Great arrows. Best part is that you can pick them up for ~$2-3 at the end of the season.

Beman ICS with G5 Montecs, replaced with Bemans with Magnus Stingers. Building a set of 5mm Easton Axis 'fairy dust' arrows with Ethics components, Lumenocks, Gateway Rayzr feathers, and reflective wraps.

Speaking from experience, be very careful with small diameter shafts and heavy tip/high FOC, unless you just like to replace them. There’s a point where they just can’t handle the force and they shatter on impact with anything other than foam. I’ll admit they weren’t Gold Tips though.

Thanks for the warning! I've got external footers I want to experiment with on this build which may or may not help with durability. We'll see how everything turns out.

I’m going to try out some RIP TKOs with 125 grain exodus, max stealths with a left helical. Maybe some SEVR 1.75 also, if they fly well.
