What’s in Your Quiver?

Gold Tip Ultralights in 340 spine with short Onestringer arrow wraps, 3 Blazer vanes in a right helical using Arizon EZ crest, GT pin nock bushing, Beiter Hunter pin nocks, 100 grain Grim Reaper 1 3/8" razortip mechanicals but might go to 100 grain Wasp Drones this year. The Drones are a fixed blade and are hitting maybe 2 inches to the right at 40 yards, so I'll have to microadjust my rest if I use them. Blows through deer and I can set my moveable pin at 25 yards and hold dead on for any shot from 0 to 30 yards.

Easton FMJ with 100g Rage hypos. Weight is in the 550 grain range if memory is correct. Served up via 70ish lb draw on a 6 year old Hoyt Charger.

Day Six 300s w 50gr in/outserts and 125gr Magnus BHs. Comes out to right at 565gr

It doesn’t have to be expensive! Grab a threaded rod for $2 at your hardware store and cut to the length you need for the weight you want. With the inserts you have you can thread them in the back if they’re threaded all the way through. Put some loctite in or they’ll wiggle loose.

That's a good idea, I think I need to get some stiffer arrows before I add any weight though. I am just barely in the range of 500 spine.

Gold Tip Hunter XTs 400 spine
29"
100 grain muzzy fixed

Don't think Im quite hitting 400 grains

New bow, so I'm trying to remember the setup, but I believe it's the following: FMJ at 29.5" (250 spine), 75gr insert and 125gr field points. Comes in at around 575-580gr. Bow is being worked on under warranty, and I left the quiver, so I can't measure exacts, but that's pretty close.

20" Spynal Tapps with 150gr Magnus stinger around 450gr total. I would like to be heavier in near future. Obviously, I'm shooting a different type of bow than all previous comments.

28in VAP Gamers + 55g ethics inserts + 125g exodus swept blades + Q2I fusion x-ii 2.1 vanes in 3degree helical 4fletch + nockturnal nock = 480g laser beam flying 295 fps outta my 70# vertix @ 29in.... pass through everything and fly straight out to 100yrds...

BE Rampage 250 @ 28” ctc
Griz Stik Compnent and enough brass to get me around 620 TAW with either 150 and 200 gr. Cutthroat left bevels, might throw a 125 gr of some kind in there later. Speeds at 248 FPS out of a Realm X 29.5”/68 lbs on Comfort setting. It’s butter.

I just bought my first compound bow last night (mission switch) Salesman suggested Easton bloodline 330 spine with 8.7 GPI to go with my 100 grain ramcat broadheads.

Hopefully it’s a good enough setup to start with
