What did you buy over Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday that is saddle related?

I can't help myself but I had to say this. That one-sticking video above was the absolute worst thing I've ever seen on video!
I mean, it's worse than the old dude in the minivan that drives 30mph on the same road I travel to GO TO WORK in the morning... Get out of the way!

Not directly saddle related, more for rec climbing but going to buy one of these devices. Wanted a HitchHiker for awhile but this latest version finally checked enough boxes.

Ethics inserts. Need a few more. So ordered a bunch to scrub a little weight off. Also Cliq chair for camping.....

I ordered a Marsupial chest harness pack for my binos. They had a 10% off Black Friday sale.

Looking for a quality pair of lightweight hikers. Longtime Lowa Renegade fan but progressively earlier breakdowns turned me off. Tried Salomons, great fit, but rands and GTX membrane breaking down even faster. Crispis next?? Not really sure where to turn, it's frustrating. A lot of outdoor stuff was much higher quality ~10 years ago before PFAS became the new boogeyman. And I don't mean that to be political in nature because I think moving on from them is justified, but it's frustrating nonetheless because we jumped back decades in technology.
If the Solomon Quest’s dang waterproofing would hold up longer I could stop searching… will say I bought the cheaper X Ultras and for whatever reason they’ve stayed dry longer, maybe I just got lucky.

Bought a new Eberlestock X2 and some extra squirrel steps. Actually my wife and kids did for my Christmas presents. Lol!

Man I was hoping to feel better about myself after reading this... But I've been putting off doing all my own bow work for years so yesterday I went all in with ez green press, bap vise, archery dezigns draw board, an adjustable height work bench from the depot and a few misc tools. Hoping besides the pride of using my own setup this stuff will pay for itself by not having to make shop trips to check timing, etc.

I broke down and ordered an Enlightened Equipment Apex Covert. My 15-20 year old sleeping bag isn’t cutting it. A 14 week lead time sucks but 20% and free shipping is nice.

Rivers West Stalker jacket and pants...so nice i'd like a vacuum sealed backup for when they stop making it!

for leather boots, they need to just stop with the gore tex, it is just marketing

treated leather boots do not breath just because you slap a breathable membrane on them....water vapor does not escape through a liner, thinsulate, gore tex membrane, and then silicone impregnated leather

we need boots with a durable bonded layer that is impermeable to water and water vapor

rubber boots feel clammy in comparison because they do not have a liner that absorbs sweat

neoprene boots with a thin fleece liner feel exactly like all leather boots on your feet
