What did you do today that’s related to saddle hunting?

I made an 18” mobile aider out of 1” wide strap from a tie down ratchet strap that loops around my boot and stays snug and the top hooks to the climbing stick at the versa tie down button using a 6” loop of Amsteel. I move it up to each of 3 sticks.
 
Contemplated all of the “necessary” purchases I needed to justify in order to be ready for all of the little changes that I “need” to make for next season. Yeah, I spent a whole lot of brain power on this one. Now I’m tired and need coffee.

On a serious note I have been playing around with putting together a minimalist early season and scout-hunt setup with 2TC as the climbing system. Getting the total weight of everything including my pack, all of my saddle gear, and such down in the 15-16 lb range without sacrificing safety and overall usability and comfort. The only other weight would be my weapon.

Time to start getting tuned back up. 30 arrows Saturday and about 20 Sunday.
