What did you do today?

This never morphed. This is in "General discussion "
for this reason.

I had a friend call me to come see a pine close to the house. It was dying and he wanted me to cut it down.
He said," I don't understand why because the pine by the mailbox is doing fine, same size, drainage and dirt".
The thing is being near the house he always raked under the tree and the tree depended on the foliage for the acidity. He was killing it all along.

I used laugh when I would read guys on here about crocs.
Now I just noticed you also wear crocs. Lol
I been wearing them for years. Here's a pair my wife keeps telling me to toss and the next pair I wore a few times. I REALLY liked these so I bought six pr .
I had them shipped into my store from several locations as they were near sold out.
Shoe fashion changes like every year.Screenshot_20200405-170457_Gallery.jpg

I officially ran out of stuff to reload today... I have some lead #8 shot, but only 10ga wads, and there's no reason to load that...

I think I’m done with crocs, can’t do yard work without crud getting under your feet, when they’re slipperier than a slipping slide, and they gave me blisters today... I don’t know what’s happening it the love is gone. I guess I’ll have to go back to loafers. :disrelieved:

Friday night, my wife and I went stealth camping in the back of my truck. We had venison sausages for supper. Then Saturday we went hiking and I got some repelling practice in. It was an awesome time!

How does that work?
I would need to own more acreage if I laid them out in a single layer.

Guess I should have said spread them out more, lol. Large pile think of as one mass, it’s heavy and sinks into the soft ground. Spread out, not as heavy (think lbs/in2) yes you need more room, but you don’t have to dig them back up. I guess it’s only an issue if you want them again, haha.

I'm sure the freeze/thaw cycle and soil composition has a lot to do with how much and how quickly rocks sink into the soil. Every time the ground heaves from freezing it takes a little more of the rock into the soil.
And I assume heavy clay would be less of an issue than with loamy soil.
Geeze, I gotta stop procrastinating. I still need to place rock for my driveway project and here I am pound on the keyboard. 4 days in a row of moving stone has my old muscles sore and aching. I don't feel like moving one more rock.

I wasted a lot of time today messing around with all my platforms and what not. Switching back and forth between saddles. Etc... etc...

I had an epiphany... I don’t like platforms. I am ring of steps kinda guy.

I might be having a mass sell off soon...

The other day we moved the kids desks into our guest/storage room and now we have a mini-school house. My wife and I have been tag teaming school for the kids for the past few weeks (As I'm sure many of you have). Actually, mostly my wife because I'm working remotely every other day I go in the office one day, work remotely the next. She's an RN (hence the mask) so she works 3 -12 hour shifts and then she's off four days so fortunately for my kids she gets more school time with them. I haven't done that stuff for years!! Anyway, yesterday I cleaned my garage and pulled some turkey hunting gear out of the garage attic storage space to start getting ready for Spring Gobbler season.

Started a nuisance beaver trapping job for before and after work. Caught this medium this am in a channel set. They're flooding a road in my township.040720medtruck.jpg

I discovered that everything my wife unit says has an applicable song to accompany it so I’m driving her nuts by saying, “Alexa...play such and such by so and so.”

If no one hears from me again, ask Amazon to check their Alexa surveillance logs for signs of my death.

How do you cut the fletchings to shape?
You need a feather burner. Go to youtube and search Clay Hayes videos he has a demo on how he makes his feathers w/o a specialized burner but to make them look super commercial you'll probably need something like a Young's feather burner. Here's a link:
