Hawk Tactical Tree Hook for $5. Super light, simpler than straps with hooks, and with the mini-caribiner holder, it it always on my pack and ready to use. I use it to hang my pack, gun/bow, and rangefinder on a single hook.

HME Accessory Hook Belt.

HME Accessory Hook Belt.

Using one of the HME accessory hooks with a CamJam XT and an extra 7/64 Amsteel daisy chain.

Had a diy paracord solution, but just started using the Tethrd HYS strap and love it!

Screw in anything is illegal in MN so I use a shotgun shell bandolier with zip ties and carabiners. Like a diy HYS strap.

I now use my linemans belt. Figured I already have it in the tree, might as well use it.

Diy strap with plastic buckle, diy bow /gun arm, and 1 hawk hook that's permanent on the strap and a 2nd in my bag, 2 or 3 little biners......i like it because i spent $2.50 for the hawk hook and the rest was stuff i already had

7/64 Amsteel daisy chain and a CamJam, with a couple J hooks and a hero clip. Light, strong, and works on a wide variety of tree sizes.

I currently use a strap with a plastic buckle but I'm thinking about trying this out...
Been using something extremely similar for a couple years. Only difference is I carry 2 and I have coated hooks from an old ratchet strap already tied onto the friction loops. I girth hitch around tree, then friction hitch is placed on tag end hanging down, then hang my gear. As compact as it gets.

I do the same thing just have fixed loops tied on my paracord rather then movable loops. Actually never thought of the movable and might have to try that. other wise same thing as what I use

DIY HYS strap with mini biners and s clips for the quiver, range finder, pack and a hero clip for the bow
