What gear upgrade (if any) will put more deer in my freezer?

I finally got my stimulus check and I want to at least put some of that towards hunting gear. I’ve got all the basics (pack, one stick, few trail cams, kestrel saddle). Just want to put another deer in the freezer this year. What would you spend your extra $$ on for that? I’m leaning towards more trail cams. Convince me of something else! Thx for the opinions.
 
You didn’t mention a weapon. You’ll probably need a bow or gun to kill a deer to fill your freezer haha.

Haha yes I use a hickory creek mini xbow during bow and I’ve got a muzzleloader and rifle too. Thing is; I’ve GOT to use this $ or it will get engulfed for other life purposes! Gun to your head- you must buy a piece of gear to help you kill an extra deer. What would it be?

What ever makes me more comfortable to sit longer. JX3, or mercy seat? Or the lugaloo.
 
In my opinion any gear that gets you out shooting is a wise investment. Build confidence in your shot, because when the moment of truth comes, the only thing that matters is your shot

Well, if you are simply looking to put more deer in the freezer, I would recommend purchasing, and strategic deployment of, claymore mines. Or mortars, those work good too.
 
After the basics are covered I would say that gear doesn't kill deer so you aren't going to get much help there. If you have the essentials I would look at upgrading clothing so you are more comfortable while out. That or upgrade your arrow system.

Clothing is something I’ve never spent $ on. This would prob be the only time I could justify a Sitka or similar purchase. Good suggestion.
