What gun do you hunt with?

I will usually use my Savage 308 or my Winchester model 94, 30-30. I use a CVA 50cal smoke pole for muzzleloader season. Every now and then I will pull out my Remington 1100, 16 gauge or my Charles Daily 12 gauge if I hunt with some friends that only allow shotguns.

Since I started building ARs those are all I hunt with. Current gun for saddlehunting is a 300 blackout pistol with a 10.5 inch barrel light and compact, and can still reach out a little ways if I need to

I have been know to use my trusty ol marlin 270 when it's time to stack them up...

But for the sake of anyone trying to take inventory of what guns we have, I lost all of my firearms in a recent boating accident...
I am very sad that all my guns were in your boat when you had your accident!

We can only use straight wall cartridges in Ohio so I'm using a H&R 444 if I'm sitting. Remington 870 12 gauge if I'm busting brush.

I haven’t fun hunted in almost a decade, but I am considering it this year if I’m able to hunt.

If I do, I will be using a Remington 710 model .270. It’s not expensive, or pretty, but I can drive tacks with it past 300 yards. I’ve heard all kinds of complaints about the 2000’s era barrels, but I must have lucked into a good one.
