Man don’t listen to those saying that they wouldn’t hunt here because the bugs or the snakes. I hunt all year whether it’s deer turkey or pigs. Oh and our turkeys have on average some of the longest beards and spurs anywhere.

I have found I am part of a new support group.
I get sympathy from all the folks that have already been down this road. You don’t know how much it sucks until you’ve been there…like a lot of things in life.
Well, I hope your recovery goes smoothly as well man. It has sucked a bit dealing with it, but everything has gone smooth so far and I’m progressing about as well as one can.
How soon until you are back to normal? This injury has a 4 month healing timeline and then I just can’t go super hard right out of the gate. If I go out and do something stupid to reinjure this my wife very well may end me while I sleep.

I broke mine 6/24 and had surgery 6/30. I’m supposed to start walking in my cam boot and physical therapy this coming Tuesday. 8/16. I hope your goes quickly as well
