What is the quickest, lightest, and most affordable climbing method?

Bows and duck calls for days...
I thought the same thing when I read that. Incidentally I found a patch of Osage Orange I’m planning on cutting one to make some staves. They are so knarly crooked though!!!

I carry carbon bolts and treehopper drill, but I 1 stick with EWO UP if I can cause it is so fast and easy. the bolts I feel are an excellent backup and allows me 3 ways to climb. Bolts, 1stick, and SRT for 6lbs of weight. If you are going to carry a platform carry one that you can climb with and you are ready for any situation

not as light as some of the 2TC posts here, but I use 12" EWO 1stick with Ultimate Platform, 35' 8mm resctech, safeguard, Cruzr XC saddle. That's it. roughly 6lb of gear to get safely up and rappel down tree.

Here's my method if interested in this gear.

Good video. Exactly how I have climbed the last two years. I think using a lineman’s belt when one sticking is the best way to go. Takes a bit of time but is safer and makes climbing easier.

To answer the original question. Really really strong quads.

for those talking bolts, iused to use them on my private properties and the cost was as much as a cheap ladder stand in the end, plus they were a work out to put in.

Where are you finding ladder stands for $20?

Bolts vs ladder stand isn't even a comparison.....read ur ladder stand direction and see how many people are required when following manufactures installation process....the most unsafe things I've ever done in the woods involved setting ladder stands solo
Yea I’ve almost had a tumble or two myself setting a ladder stand solo
