If that's an average size doe that animal can't be much more than 17-20" tall, and it's definitely bigger than a raccoon, so maybe a bobcat, fox, or even a domestic dog? Hard to even tell from the pic if it's coming or going...
 
We are in Central Ky… cougar unlikely. we have been known to have the occasional black bear but its super rare

Same here.

[mention]chootemson [/mention] Not sure what part of central KY your in, but that would be a fairly new development in the area I grew up. I have family that swears there is one running around rockcastle county, so I reckon it’s possible.
