What knee pads do you use for an all day sit?

The Arc’teryx are molded to your knee and flex when you walk, they're lightweight and not bulky. I've never had any issues with them slipping on trees and making noise. I suppose you could put some tape on them if it was an issue.

Once you get used to hunting with knee pads, then they are useful in all conditions. I also wear the Arcs. No more kneeling and getting wet knees or a thorn in your knee. Also is handy when you want to sit and rest for a bit. This year, I've hunted up to 7 hours in the Arcs, and knee comfort was never an issue.

Exactly. In fact I used mine last turkey season.

I went with the 5.11’s . For $15 I thought they are worth a try. I have not hunted in them yet but so far they seem ok.

I ordered the Arc ones in black off eBay. Figured I'll slap some stealth strips on the knee cups and have some snazy half camo pads.

I wear these under my pants. They stay put and I can't even tell I have them on. I have walked a couple of miles with them on and they don't move. I prefer this as they don't get caught and I don't have to take them on and off before I go up or our of the tree.

The new Trophylines are pretty comfortable but sound like pulling apart velcro when moving around on the tree and the rubber pads aren't perfectly lined up on the bark.

I also am extremely happy with my Arc'teryx Leaf knee caps. I wear them from the time I put my camo on until I take it off. Super comfortable and easy to walk/climb in. Didn't think I'd be a knee pad guy, but... Also, just ordered a set of the Emerson knock-off pads to check out at a third of the price.

I tried out my new Arc ones this week. Not sure if I like them to be honest. The knee part is kinda small and I don't get a really solid purchase on the tree because of it. Maybe if I was sitting in a bigger tree I could have found a comfortable spot but I really doubt it would have helped because they seem to be made more for kneeling in a shooting position with a rifle with your knee on the ground than with my knees up against the tree. If that makes sense.

Ace knee pads from Walmart. They were $5 last year. The price seems to have gone up. I'm still using them.

I had the Arteryx and found with my large calves they were to tight in the non-stretch strap (one is stretch and one is not).If they had longer straps they would be my first choice. I'm running a small cut down foam pad now.
