What replaced the Elite Synergy?

Seems to me like Elite should have continued the Synergy model, but they didn’t. For those of you that shoot Elites, what would you recommend as a bow that shoots as well if not better (within available Elite models) than the synergy? And if you like something other than an Elite I am reading that as well. Shootability, not 70 yard elk shots. Maine whitetail hunter.

I believe the ritual was the "successor" to the Synergy. After the Synergy, Energy, and Impulses though, they went to split limbs and more aggressive cams like the rest of the gang. Kinda sucked. Older is better with Elite for me. I've owned the Hunter, the Pulse (or maybe Pure? target bow technically) and the Synergy. Shot and liked the Energy series. But their new stuff doesn't excite me as much. I liked that they made an easy drawing, quiet, solid limb bow. Just solid little units. The new stuff is fine, but they got away from what set them apart for me.

I liked the Hunter, and shot the Energy 32 for a couple of years. I didn't love the module system. You'd think once you had your draw length you wouldn't need to change things but for me it wasn't the case. When I first shot the Elites I also shot the Bowtec, when I went away from Elite I got the Bowtec Reign 6 and I love that bow. I try to keep my bows for awhile, the PSE I had before the Elite I had for 20 yrs. I plan to have my Reign 6 for awhile, although I bought a recurve and I'm working with that to hunt the up coming season. Good luck bow shopping. I love bow shopping cause you get to tinker and collect data. Shoot a bunch of bows and you'll find something nice that fits you good.

@Nutterbuster (or any other Elite guru) if I were looking to buy a used Elite solid limb bow to hunt with what should I be looking for?

Synergy, Energy, and Impulse ....?

I currently have a bear method and run a minimal hunting setup, no stab or quiver just bow, sight, and rest. Also I would like to pull 65ish pounds out of it but i have short arms 27" dl, are the mods hard to find/ change out if you have a press?

Wouldn't say I'm a guru, but all 3 are good choices. Impulse is the faster, more aggressive cam. Synergy is slower and to me sweeter.

Might also check out the hunter. I shot and loved that one. Older model, so it's probably pretty cheap by now.

I was in the market for a new bow this year and didn’t want to pay for new model. I went with the synergy bow. I love it. Not a speed demon by no means but it’s a shooter. Smooth, steady, solid back wall and all most have to push it to get it to let down . Found it new in box on eBay. Probably paid 1/4 of what it cost new.
