What will you change/improve for next year?

Anyone going away from saddle and back to stand? Just asking
No sir, necks to jacked up to sit in a stand. I may consider buying a .5 but I’d use it with a saddle. Doubt I’ll buy one though.

I’m not going away from saddle hunting completely but I am going to be incorporating more stand hunting than I have in the last couple years. Especially during the rut. Overall I tend to sit still much better for longer in a stand compared to a saddle.

But at the same time don’t want to give up the portability of saddle hunting.

Same here. Probably do more of a hybrid approach. But not giving up entirely.

Improvment of me not getting covid twice snd improved number of hunts. I had covid twice and was only able to hunt around 10 times.
the least amount of hunts in years.
Yep, got it right as gun season started - Took 1.5 months to feel normal again. Did get one last day of gun but the 80 yard short drag and mile hike to my truck was more than exhausting.

It was awful man glad your good bro.
i really still am losing my breath easily.
covid has definitely humbled me and alot of disbelievers.
its no joke people.
oh yea and yes i was vaccinated and it i believe helped alot.

Should be closing on a lot in the next couple weeks and I am going to be building a nice 2 bedroom cabin that will be VRBO most of the year but will be all mine for deer season, so my spring and summer won't involve much hunting/scouting this year but should pick way up after that. Pretty excited for it, tons of public land, numerous fishing lakes, hiking trail and wineries all with in minutes and a bunch of buddies with places down there already.

Take time to really learn my oaks- by bark, leaf, acorn, when they drop, etc.

2022 will be my first year saddle hunting, thanks JCLINE84!

I will have new sticks, but want to see what comes out between now and summer.

#1...I am thinking of trying the EZ v sight this year...anyone have any experience with them?...getting harder to see the sight tape on my sight and in the heat of the momebt sometimes we may not have time to make adjustments...yes I have a 5 pin and a range finder...still can be tricky in a new spot...
#2...Thinking of putting a cam cleat on my Tethrd predator with amsteel as the rope attachment...seems like a very quick attachmebt method and very light to carry...less fiddling around and no straps and buckles...
any thoughts?

thanks
jimmi

I was considering modifying my predator with an X-cleat like the one from the one sticks.
