Whats the price of the WildedgePerch?

Also this was a limited batch quantity being produced. Which can also drive the price point.
 
I dont think anyone is going to be wealthy manufacturing saddle hunting products right now, and I'm sure they aren't gauging anyone. That said, when you look at it vs other options, it looks smaller and less complicated, so you might have assumed, like I did, that it would be considerably less expensive. That may not be correct but to me those are the optics. I'm sure they'll sell and I hope they do, but I'm going to look elsewhere at the moment. There shouldn't be any hard feelings either way, at the very least it provides another option where options are limited.
 
I am not going to complain about the price. I will say that at that price I decided to stop, wait for more reviews and compare it more close to what everyone has already said is a great platform, the Predator. With how many days I spend in a tree I will get my $$ out of whatever I buy. Making sure that what I buy is the best fit for how I hunt is more important.

For everyone that has the means and skill to build your own, my hats off to you! It is great to see some of the ideas people come up with.

I have built my own and just to clarify things... I would never take someone else’s idea and try to make a profit. I did this for self satisfaction and that’s it. Now on to something else! Thanks to all that have had positive comments. God bless!

I spoke with Matt from Out On A Limb tonight. He used straps, the new manufacturer will be laser cutting the Perch out of flat sheet stock. That is what's driving the higher price. WE has spent big bucks on advertising as well to push the product. Like anything, price will come down over time.

Are you saying they are building this from one piece of aluminum like the beast stand?

I'd assume they would be laser cutting the sheet stock into strips with the traction grooves, rather than starting with strips and milling the grooves. Then they form and weld the final product.

I would say that is how it done looking at pics.
