perhaps you are right, i know hormones are used in the cattle industry and sometimes added to feed/minerals. However, GMO corn has definitely been studied for its effects on hormone regulation and tends to increase estrogen and kill testosterone, which usually means more added fat/body mass. And most of the corn grown across the country is GMO corn - at least for the large farms.

Fake news. Give a link to the science sir. I am a small farmer I use GMO technology. Bill Gates used to be against GMO food. After carefully examining the evidence he changed his mind because GMO food saves lives by making food plentiful and affordable and sometimes even healthier
I have never seen evidence of GMO food changing estrogen levels in meat


BUT the main point is about deer and corn. It don’t matter what type of corn a deer eats. Grain overload of any kind can kill deer
If they gorge themselves and are not used to it

I think it states 80% of corn, soybeans (hummmm wonder what deer are eating in the states where CWD is so rampant????) are GMO based plants.
 
Interesting study. So they put roundup up in rats water and they got tumours.

Why. If I fed that dosage of Tylenol to rat I would kill it in a day yet many people use Tylenol for pain within the label perimeters with no ill effects . The dose is extreme to say the least in this study
To me it shows the LD50 of roundup is very very low.

I have a science degree and most would say it is fake news

OK you are the GMO farmer use it as you see fit. I stopped eating corn a decade ago and have zero regrets doing so. I have had an organic garden for years, I think it makes a difference. There is lots of info out there for both sides people can and should choose for themselves. Despite popular opinion, I also received an education :)

It's an article by a "certified herbalist" citing One journal article on the topic that it admits has issues.

I have plenty of issues with how we manage our food supply...but that article isn't especially credible.

Not to hijack this to much.
If GMO is so fine and dandy, put it on the label and wear the badge proudly. Let me make the choice....
Ethanol in our gas is just a subsidiary for the farmers. Ruins the machine, but hey we can always add something else to remedy that though..... Right???

The main point of the thread is all corn can cause acidosis
I have to go and harvest some corn today that I planted through the night this spring

Many of those studies were done with rats that get tumors regardless. This thread is full of tin foil hat nonesense.

Keto isn't universally regarded as safe in the long term either. We could get in a quick-google-search war on that one all day long.

All that I know is that none of us are getting out of here alive. Maybe it's the big ball of radiation in the sky that's microwaving us to death? Or that insidious dihydrogen monoxide. 100% of test subjects exposed to it have died, and in large enough doses it's immediately fatal.

Anyway. Poachers are bad.
 
And science also supports global warming - guess we buy into that as well? Feed deer what you want. If it is illegal and I find it I will call you in. period. Eat it if you want -I choose not to.
 
Report illegal corn baiting. Using bolts or spurs illegally
Riding e bikes illegally
And all corn sometimes kills deer
And carry a hand gun if you report cheaters. But not in Canada cause that is illegal for us
