When do Antlers start?

Yeah, I hate the woods in the summer. Ticks, chiggers, poison ivy/oak, snakes, etc. That’s why I love my cell cams and I put big external battery pack on them to keep them running a long time so I can stay out of there.

I have never used a camera but I thought about trying one this season but I guess I need to buy a data plan and that usually stops me …

I may of mis-spoke about KY. It says all of there deer came from Wisconson.
The article attached said TN. Got their deer from 7 different states. Read what they say about rut timing.

I mainly run Browning Apex Dark Ops. I've got a bunch. Some are over 3 years old and stay in the woods most of the year. They take great pics. The only one I've had an issue with was from a bear that ripped it off a tree and chewed on it like bubble gum. Still works but the invisible flash stopped working on that one. It's not uncommon to have 5000-8000 pics on the 128GB card when I check them.
I run 25 cams on 1000 acres. I have learned that if your trail cam has any type red flash, it can spook animals... Mature bucks seem to be the most sensitive but bears, coyotes, bobcat, all stare at the cam for their pic more with a red glow at night over the undetectable infrared flash that the dark ops has... They do make cell cams that don't have a red flash at night. Something to consider and in my mind worth the extra cash.

Pretty sure this is the same guy I posted earlier in this thread.

I just saw a herd of bucks coming home from ball games in SE Ohio, one at least was already an 8

Yesterday out driving saw a good buck and he had some antlers for sure. I drive with bino’s so I can pull over and get a closer look but the road was too busy.
