I'm using twistlock binders that my nephew gave me. He is in the tree business. They seem heavy and I would rather have a screw gate. So whick one? I rappell also if that makes a difference.
Bass pro has black diamond biners , 3 different ones. I think black rock, hot forge and another one. I have a gift card that's why bass pro instead of a saddle company.
And are there any made in USA? Or am I gonna be hanging from Chinese junk?

Fusion auto lock is my go to. Can’t go wrong with a black diamond either. If you’re using a kong duck you’ll need an oval carabiner.

For what it’s worth the auto lock biners are nice since you can’t accidentally leave the gate unlocked as easily. It just take some practice getting the opening procedure into muscle memory.

This is the one I use to rappel on a Munter hitch, I climb in a doubled rope system and it’s got plenty of room for both strands of my 9.5mm rope.

Got a 3 pack of hot forget black diamond. Everything else i bought i made sure it was made in the USA. And the biners are made in Taiwan. Not really happy about that.

I use the same

I found the black diamond auto locks to be great at one handed opening. I have metolius element auto locks for carabiners that rub on the tree like for a tether or rappel line. The metolius element auto locks lock closed. To open you have to push the locking cylinder up and then twist. This way, they can’t accidentally twist and unlock rubbing against the tree. Not sure if that’s actually an issue but with these carabiners it definitely isn’t. Picked them up at my local REI.

I use auto-lock ovals that came with my XOP gear years ago with my mechanical ascenders and Black Diamond hot-forge screw gates with everything else. I think they're just as easy to use one-handed as an auto-lock and once you get used to it and have a routine down you're unlikely to forget to secure them. The BD hot-forge stuff is compact and really light compared to a lot of biners I've tried.
