WHICH SADDLE FOR YOU BIG GUYS ?

I’m 5’11” 260lbs with a wore out back and I’m using a Latitude Method 2 XL and I find it extremely comfortable. I believe the two panels really help in my comfort and no back pain.

@Fl Canopy Stalker I haven’t finished the pod cast I heard you on but truly like the sound of your saddle and materials it’s made from. How do they fit us big fellas?
I am 6'2" 320 with #noass. I used a Phantom for a year then used the Phantom XL last year and had no issues. I met @Fl Canopy Stalker at a recent saddle event in central Fla and was able to try his saddle as well as many of the others on the market. I really wanted to like the Cruzer XC size 2 but decided to stick with my XL for another season as it wasn't that much better, in my opinion. I will say the the Woods saddle by far has more adjustability to go from a leaner to a sitter style with very minimal movement, but I rarely sit so that wasn't as big a draw for me but I could see that as huge for others. The Woods saddle was very comfortable and was solidly built and I feel it is a great choice....in fact I may still lean (pun intended) that way when I replace the XL next spring/summer.....

I use the phantom. I’ve worn it to the woods from a high of 290lbs to a low of 215. I have a phantom xl but I’ve never sat in it. I have a Jx3 that’s made a few trips to the woods and a kite that has seen light use as well.
Here’s the disclaimer, since getting a phantom I haven’t sat in anything made since. It’s comfortable enough for me without any adjusting or difficulty wearing it in from the truck. I found a saddle that checked all my boxes and quit spending money trying to find the next best thing. Due to deaths in my family I haven’t attended saddlepalooza in a couple years so I haven’t tried anything else.
It’s not brand loyalty so much as I found something that works great for me and quit chasing the dragon. I do recommend that everyone try as many saddles as they can and find something that feels like it was made special just for them. Of course until you spend some time in a saddle you don’t know what’s important to you so it may not be a one and done purchase. Don’t give up after the first sit and don’t be afraid to make some adjustments and come on here and ask for help. Also search for “saddle shape” it’s a real thing

I'm 6'3" 250. Hunted last season with the Tethrd Phantom XL with the recliner and found it comfortable to sit and lean for long periods. I went to a Tethrd event near Harrisonburg VA (2+ hour drive) August of 2021 to try it out. Best 6hrs I spent. One of the local demonstrators was a large man with large feet also like myself. Tried his rig and found out I also needed the Predator XL for my size 15eeee boats which I refer to as feet.

I have the predator, the xl, and several options for ring of steps. We’ll see how I like the predator pack this year but for ease of storage and one trip up the tree nothing has added enough comfort to offset what to me has been cumbersome to carry and climb with. My current setup Carrie’s a ros so good and I’m all ways comfortable enough.
@Albisu the recliner or some other back band is pretty much a requirement for me with any soft saddle I’ve tried.

5’-9”, 270. Used the menace and liked it, have a Cruzr XC now and like it too. Decision for me came down to preferring the mesh material on the Cruzr
