Which Trad bows still USA made?

There are literally hundreds if not thousands of bowyers in the US. Affordable is the key component here.

St. Joe River. They also have a trade in/buy back program. I’ve heard good things about Omegas as well. My daughter has a St. Joes.

I wonder where these are made.

I wonder where these are made.

Well a couple of those look Identical to Samick Sage, and from some of the research it appears to be made by them. So most likely they are not all made in the USA. I belive most of the PSE Compounds are made in the USA. If some of the recurves are in fact made in the Samick factory they are made in Korea. I have 2 of them and they are hard to beat for the money. I like mine, but after shooting my Bear Montana Long bow I have as much fun shooting that as my Mathews.

North or South? ;)

Another option is an ILF bow with either an aluminum or wood riser, made in the USA
The nice thing about ILF is the ability to change limb length and poundage.
ILF risers typically are cut past center and are drilled and tapped for rests, plungers and even sights.
They have more "tunability" than most one pc. bows so your arrow options are greater.
There are many ILF risers that cover the pricing spectrum from approx. ($125) to what ever your wallet can stand.
Limbs are available in many different poundages and lengths to suit your budget and requirements.

I've heard good things about these Firefly bows too. Lost Nation Archery

I have owned several Firefly longbows. AWESOME bows. Jim Jones is the bowyer and a super guy. I don’t own one now because I had to move down in draw weight and sold them to my friends.

I bought a Big Jim Thunderchild at a shoot in Alabama back in July 2020. It’s a nice bow that shoots good. Excellent craftsmanship. Very happy with it and would recommend but he is on the higher end price wise.

Another vote for FireFly and Jim Jones. Jim has built me 2 bows and both have been OUTSTANDING shooters. I gave one to my friend and traded the other for a Widow. I sure wish I had one back!

I’ll throw a nod to Timberhawk. I bought one this year and it’s a nice bow, price was a big concern for me. Owner was great to deal with and the bow turned out great!

Any bowyer you find in the United States is making it here. Black Widow, Bob Lee are what I can Semi custom bows and they are made here are well. Basically, if you can find it on Amazon, it is not USA made.
