I have been messing around in my head about being able to turn my crossbow vertical and take a shot around a tree. When I have done it the broadhead seems to drop, soni have never pulled the trigger. For you DIY's what about mounting a whisker biscuit. I might be completely out of left field, but if I am not......

Gangster shooting technique!!!
I guess the poi of impact would be different, I would work on aiming later, I am just messing with the idea of making any crossbow into a vertical.

I'm only guessing but if your xbow has the single bolt stirup attachment you might be able to put it there. Might need to drill out the biscuits bolt channel and use a longer bolt.

That is kind of what I was thinking. Would take some off season tinkering and then off course some accuracy testing. Hopefully no one gets harmed in this testing.

Still waiting for the bugs to be worked out with the mini. I like the design and the idea, but it just doesn't seem like a finished product. I hear about it losing accuracy and having to change nuts out, constantly having to check tightness. I have hunted with my cheap carbon express for 2 years. I have never had to re sight in. I have checked screws and nuts and have never had to re tighten anything. This is the main reason I hunt with a crossbow and not a bow. I can sight in once and then spot check every once in awhile, if I haven't shot a deer.

Well you’re gonna be working out a lot of bugs trying to redesign a crossbow to use a whisker biscuit, and it will most likely affect your point of impact shooting it sideways

Correct, not sure I will do it yet, BUT I will be starting with a piece of equipment that I know is dead on. I have shot my rifle on it's side messing around and the horizontal axis just became the vertical and the POI really did not change.

AND the fact that none of the big manufacturers have made a vertical makes me question the whole design. You know if they could make money at it they would. Hickory Creek has already given them the design.
