Who deploys a Doyles gear hoist from the inside of their pack?

Definitely worth the investment for the pouch. On a side note I just received his platform strap and it made a huge difference. I could never use a lone wolf strap again.

So I ended up using a grommet in the bottom of the pack to run the line out of. Actually my pack had a small compartment that housed an orange rain cover that I never used. So the hole isn't even in the main compartment. Then I took the belt clip off and used that screw and hole with a small washer to screw it in place through the bottom of the pack. Thanks for all the great ideas.

I have an entrenchment tool pouch on my saddle. It has a grommeted hole on the bottom. My Doyle’s lives there. The rope runs through the hole and I replaced the Doyle’s plastic attachment contraption on the end of the rope with a horizontal bar off a Lone Wolf pull up rope.

I’ve thought of doing that as well. I used the LW gizmos on my cord when I didn’t use the Doyle’s.
