Last year I was shooting Sirius Vulcan 300s at about 755gr. Bow was clocking about 200fps with the ez v sight. Up graded some this year. Shooting a liitle faster. So my test kit was liking 250s out of it. Gonna build something around 650-700. I like the Sirius Apollo's because they are available as shafts, ethics inserts and light weight. Good price for one stop shopping. I like the victory shafts, but hard to get bare shaft to build my own. 250s are hard to find. Before I order, any one have something else they recommend? Or where I can get victory bare shafts?

Victory RIP TKO 250's. I really like them, low gpi but seem very durable. The low gpi means higher FOC with the same components and lower total weight to maintain a little more speed.

Black eagle x impact 250s with ethics insert system sitting at about 635gr if a recall with Iron Will 125 solids (and trying cutthroat single bevel 125s this year). Happy with move to a heavier setup.

I’ve shot black eagle carnivores and element typhoons in 250. Element is trash, black eagle is a great arrow

Apollo 250 spine, 100g insert, 200g field points/broadheads. Nock tuned etc. 65lb/30inch DL. Bangs hammers. The time it took me to bare shaft/nock tune at 7/10/15/20 yards made me so much better as an archer it was insane. I drank the RF Kool Aid and it tastes delicious. I also run the EZV.

Seth at Sirius Archery is the only guy I even want to speak to about arrows and ordering online. When I went to drop inserts, I think two out three dozen needed some slight adjustments. Every other one was dead nuts.

Sirius just put out their new SuperNova 2.0z standard diameters, Barr shaft with ethics for like 70 bucks

I’m running eastons, did axis’s last year and trying the hexx this year to bump up my FOC without adding more up front. Mostly because I can run out and buy them 15 minutes from the house. I will say so far this year the hexx are requiring less time and effort to nock tune. My TAW last season was 742 with a 250 grain head and an ethics insert, looks like the hexx are gonna end up around 650+ with a 265 grain meat head for no other reason than that’s where they seem the happiest.

I'm shooting 300 spine black eagle x impacts so I can't speak to the 250's but if I had decided on 250's I still would've went with the x impacts. Very light GPI so that you can keep more of the weight in the front instead of in the shaft. No complaints so far on my 300's.

Been waiting on the Apollo 200 spine arrows for a while now. Sirius arrow seem to be in high demand at the moment.

I ended up with Apollo's. 655gr when I was done. Went 4 feather. 200gr heads. Nocturnals on the back. Shoots good. Gotta get plenty of reps in this summer so I'm ready for Fall.
