I can get the same height, clothes or no clothes. Clothes primarily affects your ability to climb your aider and that’s why I bought an aider with 15” spacing. I can climb it with or without clothes same, same.

I started off my saddle hunting with 4 muddy pro sticks. While they worked well they felt like I was lugging around my summit on my back. I went to 1 stick pretty fast after the first year and it just works for me. I'm 6"2 with a long wingspan so I can set the top of the stick at almost 8' on my tippy toes. Every move after that no less then 6'. I can then set my platform 2-3 feet above the stick to get more hight. It might not be for every one but being tall and flexible are definitely an advantage .
