I live in the south so we hunt in the heat I am wondering who washes there saddle and with what and how frequently
Will it cause strength or integrity issues??

I put mine in the washing machine last night and just used unscented detergent. Hang it out to dry. Does fine.

With most of my things that get reused from hunt to hunt I try to put them in a sealed container with an ozone generator between hunts.

I put mine in a pillow case and wash as normal I have also put socks over the buckles and used a rubber band to hold them on so they don’t tear up the washer. I like to soak it in permethrin while it’s wet and hang dry in summer time. During the winter I use the dryer low heat and slow dry it.

See you in a tree, Ricky

I’ve washed and dried mine. Living in the edge!!! My tether smelled like soured corn shortly after it’s first use. Failed experiments got me again.
