Who's hunting morels?

found some nice sized ones too. biggest was 7.8 oz i didnt measure it length wise but it was a booner for sure:tongueclosed:
 
good time of year to look for ovoids too. if you like to get weird...
 
Not sure what ovouds are? We found a few Saturday Northwest Indiana. That's a pear for size.

I picked 75 or so. Its almost done here for the year.
I haven't found a black for a couple weeks and the blonds are starting to peter out. I picked 4 blonds on Sunday. That might be the end.

Ovoids are magical...;) just don't try one before you go hunting or climb a tree!

Those are some bigguns man, thats a good day. I'd rather find 30 that size then 200 small ones.

So... We had found our first grey (Indiana name) about three weeks ago, found nice size yellows (Indiana name) on mother's day weekend, only found to tonight. How long until the season is over from everyone's experience.

Honestly all depends on where you live. Even in the same state
