Why am I being blocked from all posts related to Tethrd

Honestly the time we spent today with this thread could have been used to move forward with a discussion on how to handle the current concerns and issues. Instead we spent all day here defending ourselves and the rules that have been put in place so we can collectively spend time constructing what we think will work for everyone. Lets all check out the videos and pics and comments from ATA and figure out how to make more money to spend on saddle stuff

This is all just sad to watch go down. Everyone that has been here for a long time is now affiliated with companies that didn't exist or weren't currently making products when they were figuring out how to make saddles comfortable and effective. I don't understand how that doesn't influence current responses. It's becoming more fun to read through old posts rather than new ones.
I appreciate @redsquirrel and the other moderators time to manage this growing forum. As a small business owner and volunteer wrestling coach, I understand how time and effort and passion can go unrewarded and even harshly criticized as being unfair. This is a new market in a tiny niche industry and you all are trying to hold on to the collectivist value that saddle hunters had just a few years ago. Unfortunately, I don't see how that is possible because most people refuse to play nice with others, especially on the internet where there are no real repercussions.
Agreed!! I mean it’s JUST the method that has everyone so hung up we’re all still just hunters!! Still have to get out there figure it out & fill the freezer.

When you claimed I said I signed a contract that was a lie. As for the rest, you are certainly entitled to your opinion of me and my motives.

You may even value your opinion; I don't.

A lie is an assertion that is believed to be false, typically used with the purpose of deceiving someone. The practice of communicating lies is called lying. A person who communicates a lie may be termed a liar. Wikipedia

I doubt it was a lie

Huh? You took that the wrong way. I was just implying I probably wouldn't have bought half the stuff I had if I would've known what I was I was buying. I had no idea there were "prostaff" in signatures until today. Turns out the unbiased reviews on some of the gear might not have been so unbiased. And turns out this is about the best and/or only place to sell it back.
Truly sorry if I took it the wrong way. That's how it read to me--tone can be tough over the web--we all get that. I just sometimes get confused and dissapointed when people bring up all the things they think are wrong with the site, and seem to ignore or place less value on all the things that are GREAT about the site.

I'm trying to offer some constructive criticism/ideas not %! $$ in your Cheerios. It is the best resource out there so why not allow it to evolve into something better? I'm just throwing out ideas. I would've had no idea about saddle hunting if it wasn't for this site. Why go to a vendor site when I can talk to both the vendor and the consumer in the same place possibly at the same time?
I agree. This is an incredible resource to get info and tips straight from the people involved in the company. It’s a shame we have to limit that. Also a shame that the guys who helped make this site what it is are severely limited with what they can talk about. I notice most of them rarely post anymore and that’s not good. Hopefully something can be figured out so everyone can get back to talking about saddle hunting again and those guys can be free to discuss whatever they want. In the end that benefits all of us.

Hey @DaveT1963
Perhaps you could post your stuff on this site. No rules.
I would read your stuff there

Actual it could be the site where all pro staff could post or promote anything. That site could serve a useful purpose for potentially biased information

I would read stuff on that site. I think it was started when this site was down for several days. I think @ImThere started it.

Post there and likely most of us will read it

@Ontariofarmer I appreciate the shout out, but I feel I need to clear the air a little
Guys,
I set up that site in the brown out of 2018, (some will know what I'm talking about) to stay in contact with my friends from this site, I did not set it up to steal members from here. If you'd like to be a member great but don't go there thinking your going to sit around and bad mouth my friend Redsquirrel or saddlehunter.com those will be the only posts I will moderate and delete, simply not cool. other than that its anything goes there.

No issues with me! I appreciate the site as well and the information contained in here has probably put me on more deer than any other previous year. I think a lot of us first and foremost are borderline obsessive hunters and to see anything threatening or changing a valuable tool and resource is definitely a sensitive subject.

Ok guys, I'm going to set something right. I spoke with @DaveT1963 on the phone. He informed me that he has never signed a contract nor was he ever contractually bound. I pride myself on speaking my mind, but I am also adult enough to recognize when I may have gave information that is not right. So, I am taking Dave at his word and trusting him that he has never signed a contract and apologizing if it seems as if I was personally attacking him.

Additionally, I'll amend my post(s) somewhat, although I do believe that there does need to be some controls.

Lastly, so it's clear, I'm not a Tethrd hater, I have some of their gear. I hope those guys are successful, as I do with all of the guys affiliated with them. I realize prostaff needs to exist to affect change in any product (who knows who is one ;)).

@redsquirrel, sorry for dumping on this thread, hope SH becomes fun for you again, I truly enjoy much interaction here.

That is true. I think I mentioned that in my post. We thought this site no longer existed
I would not want to draw people from this site but it would be a place to promote stuff

That is the problem with this site - a lot of us do not know each other and our perception may not be accurate. i am glad we spoke and were able to set things right - even fi we never agree on anything - which i don't think will be the case.

Yep - I need a break guys - so yes I did turn it off and deleted my profile and contact info for awhile. I made an announcement 3 days ago, which I don't believe the rules even require? I was open and honest that I was joining the Tethrd team. Since that time I have had a few imply things about my integrity and character that is a little hard to swallow. I really don't care if people see things my way, or if they use different gear - I do take exception when people start implying my INTENTION and MOTIVES.

I have poured 1000s of hours on the phone and email helping folks with everything from trail cameras to modifying sticks and never once did I ever tell anyone the gear I was helping them with was substandard or wasn't the best. I have spent 1000s of dollars buying gear from a lot of venders, and freely offered my feedback and gave reviews. I have even sent folks gear so they could hunt - for free. I am also pretty sure I had a small influence on a few finding and joining this community.

I joined Tethrd pro staff because it will allow me to talk to more people about saddle hunting and because they (Tethrd) VALUED and SOUGHT my input. I actually have the chance to test gear from a hunters perspective and be able to have some say on future designs. I am not going to be dissuaded from that opportunity because a few have a problem with it.... get over yourself.

For the folks that I've communicated with and have been able to help - that's what it is all about. I will continue to offer my opinions on what does/doesn't work for me.

Finally - to the moderates and to RED - as far as the rules. I know them now and will play along.... or not. However, it would have been kind of nice to tell me I was being added to a group and being blocked from making any comments on product reviews. Don't think that would be asking too much and I am pretty sure I have at least earned that courtesy. But hey, I know its YOUR site.
