Why saddle hunting will never thrive

Thanks for everyone’s help. We all have our opinions and ideas on hard work. I am a dedicated traditional bowhunter but I do not look down at others that shoot compounds like they are cheating or taking the easy way. It’s all relative. And I feel that people need to stop flexing g their internet muscles. Everyone have a great season. This site is not what I thought it was. Best of luck.

Once again a forum member comes at me with a roundabout dig. I would say without a doubt that my patience and success in a hard hunted state like New Jersey is as good or better than yours. The problem with the saddle availability is a deterrent. You are prob still living with your dad and have no responsibilities. It’s very easy to generalize. When I was in your position I prob would of felt the same way. When you have kids and a wife and a mortgage and bills to complicate your life things change. When you grow up then you can give me advice on life. Best of luck this year.
Sorry you took so personal dude, you're the one that started the treaded bitching about your first world problems. It wasnt a roundabout dig, I directly told you my thoughts about your thoughts. And since you want to stereotype, my father died in 2005 and taught me everything he could in the short life he lived. A have mortgage, wife , daughter, full time job and a successful business to manage. This will be my last comment on your rant so dont waste your time replying.

I agree that this forum has an awesome group of helpful guys. And I have always gone out of my way to help others in real life and on the internet. Also I don’t hunt out of $40 stands. I hang and hunt out of lone wolf stands. There is a def frustration. Sorry for venting.

You literally said that in your opening post. Also mentioned money being tight because of responsibilities. Then puff up about lone wolf treestands. Wow, just wow

.My father also passed away when I was 22 years old. Have a good season.

Dude, I ordered my mantis in may, thought about saddle hunting last season, made the decision, went ahead with it, ordered some wild edge stepps at the same time, took 2 months+ to arrive. You want it now, get a sit drag and rock climbing harness off Amazon and it will be at your door in two ish days.

Dont trash tucker, iirc, friends of his saw his saddle, asked him to make them one, and then talked him into selling them. It's a quality item, individually made, by 1 dude. This year seems like an explosion of people new to the saddle, myself included. I understand your frustration, but tucker seems like a good guy, this community has been nothing but helpful unless you are being a jackass, and then they will call you out.

Take a deep breath and be excited you'll be saddle hunting soon.

Troll...

This site has been and is a great resource. I do have an issue with a particular company due to their poor communication....wont answer emails and don't list a phone number. I want to saddle hunt so I modified a sit drag and bought a RCH. A guy can order a sit drag and some ropes drone DanO and be in business in a couple of days.

Talk about not planning ahead...

You came to a well loved forum about saddle hunting and took a dig at how it wouldn’t last. Did you really think guys wouldn’t have a opinion that didn’t agree with your negative opinion? What did you expect your negativity to bring from a bunch of saddle hunting freaks? Seriously?? Sure you have every right to share but you can’t get butthurt when guys share their opinions as well. Must be my age but it amazes me how quick people are to pull the trigger and go negative on something when they don’t get what they want immediately. Best of luck to you and I hope you find what makes you happy. amazon.com
