wide deadhead found

Little update, talked to him and wasn’t my deer. No way he could’ve made it that far. Fingers crossed it might be @barlow96’s but I doubt it considering he found the head on private land.
if it was north Warren county around steal bayou it could have been. I shot him on public though. But there is some private not too far. But across the river. I shot the deer at around 9 am. Went back at 6 pm with dog and jumped the deer in bed. I was sick. Went back in the area after season was over and turned nothing up.

It was close to me but still too far away. About 10 miles from where I shot my deer.

I thought yall might like to see this deadhead I found on a trip to Mississippi. 24" inside spread.
That’s probably one of those zombie deer walking around lol seriously statistically Mississippi has the highest percentage of mature buck (over 3 years old) reported in the country. So I guess it’s not surprising

If you hunted in MS that statistic would surprise you, I have no idea where they are getting those numbers from. I guess it makes sense cause you gotta let them get 3+ years old here before they even start sniffing the 100” range.

I feel that. The “mature” bucks in Fl are tiny… I never said Ms was known for big bucks just statistically speaking they have the highest percentage of mature buck reportings. But like anything statistics can be skewed too

Good point, most people (myself included) want to relate mature bucks with bigger racks. Which isn’t always the case.

I came here because I misread the title, thought it said "wife deadhead found" Talk about being disappointed...

So I was t the only one. Good to know…. Hahahaha
