Wild edge steps

I carry 8 to hunt around 22 ft I personally think i can tie the extra few steps as fast as i can put on the aider.I don’t care for the fiddle factor with aiders and I don’t like how sketchy they can be on leaning trees.JMO

Pros, they're light with kn/sw especially and are easy to setup with a little practice. Doubles as a platform. Couple mods they wont dig into the tree, kn/sw wont slip (all household stuff to modify).

Cons, I think the bag is a little clunky but with some mods could have it functioning better.

what mods are you doing to the bag to make it function better? And to not dig into the tree?
 
When you guys are replacing the ropes on the steps with Amsteel are you using the same wild edge knot on the fixed end or some other splicing not with the Amsteel?
