@Tuhlmann,
I am still hunting out of my 3+ year old Sit Drag, and before that I hunted out of a @kenn1320 molle saddle. Don’t let the lack of a commercial saddle hold you back. Heck, if you don’t like the sit drag, do a fleece saddle.

Saddle hunting for years. A long time ago I sold my old trophyline and bought a sit drag. I still hunt out of a sit drag or fleece. It is not for lack of funds that I choose this.
I like the combo of rch and purpose built sling (to hang comfortably). I don’t need molle loops I can’t comfortably get to. I don’t need to hang bags off a saddle. For me, the saddle should support me in the tree with comfort. My lineman’s belt in my rch is exactly the length I need it to be and I can change the length quite easily. My sit drag has an adjustable whoopie bridge.
I am interested in doing up a wraptor, but that effort has stalled. I am looking for someone who can see up life support strapping.
Seriously, fleece is like $6 / yard at Walmart and they have camo. Some amsteel blue or accessory cord for a bridge. Then get a RCH and add lineman’s belt (1” and 2” tubular webbing). My favorite is the gym dandy harness.
Think you are correct. From my take on that podcast and other bits of information I've found. In my opinion, it looks like the guys from Wild Edge, which have been hunting out of Aero Hunter Saddles. Have gotten them to make modifications that fit their needs and works with the Wild Edge System.The Yarak looks like a “Kite Flex” with a Wild Edge flair. I have a Kestrel, but I would definitely look into the Yarak as a hot-weather option or just a secondary system that I could probably tuck into a fanny pack if I didn’t want to go through thorns and needles wearing mesh.
If you like aero hunter the kite might be an option. I really like mine.I have a flex so not so much interested in the yarak. It’s the same thing with some different loops sewn into the mollie rows from what I see.
I am interested in trying out the trophy line. I do want a mesh saddle for early season.

^^^^ he’s right you know.
I don’t understand why more people don’t go this route. I still say my sitdrags are more comfortable than my Mantis. Others will say their first impression of a saddle shouldn’t be from a sitdrag.
I'm guessing the only people saying your first impression of a saddle shouldn't be from a sitdrag, are companies that are selling saddles. My RCH/Sitdrag I made is definitely more comfortable than the mantis I just got. The Mantis isn't bad...I can get it into different positions/spots to make it more comfortable, but I was actually able to sit very comfortable in my sitdrag right away without having to try to fine tune it/adjust it around so much...no riding up etc.
The main reason I switched from my RCH/sitdrag to a saddle was just less stuff going on. A saddle is just cleaner, more user friendly, and faster to get setup.
I'm 6' 170lbs and got the mantis in a medium. I honestly think it would be more comfortable if I would have bought a Large or an XL...bigger the better in my eyes (for comfort).
I hate the sit drag.@redsquirrel absolutely hates a sitdrag. Yessir there out there! Weirdos I tell ya!
