Wisconsin SaddleHunter Meetup - Rescheduled for August 22nd

Just so you guys know, tethrd is at deerfest again this summer . End of July and early August. Might be a good time to have it

Took the survey but I have zero experience with saddles. Very interested in learning though if anyone in southeast wi would be willing to meet up before this and let me pick your brain a bit about your set up then maybe I’ll have some gear of my own to contribute to this event. I’ll even offer to buy lunch for your time
 
My sister has tried getting us to move up there.. She just sent us pics of her new fancy ice cleats and snow shoes. My wife will definitely never agree now!

You are a perfect participant. There will be plenty of other people with gear. I live in Sussex and have a size large Tethrd Mantis. I just have 1 year in the saddle but shot my first bow buck from it this year. I’d be happy to meet sometime before the Wisconsin meetup for a show and tell.

I haven’t reached out to any of the saddle companies yet to inquire about getting samples for people to try out but was definitely planning to do that.

It was a balmy 50 today! No complaints here when it dips below freezing. Easier to scout in the marshes when they are froze over :)

Good suggestion. I pulled names off the saddle hunter map for the ones that I did tag so recommend that everyone that hasn’t already done so to yourself there also.

Did they survey. I meant to do it sooner but the shower upstairs sprung a leak and caused a drip in my ceiling.
I work rotating shifts but if it lines up I will bring what I have.
 
In case you didn’t see the announcement, Tethrd announced their teach-n-learn series today and they will be coming to Wisconsin. They are going on the road to 20 cities to put on a one day workshop to educate people about saddle hunting and provide opportunities to try their products. The Tethrdnation.com website lists the Wisconsin workshop as being in Madison on July 31 - Aug 2 which happens to be the same weekend as Deerfest at the Washington county fairgrounds. I doubt that is a coincidence.

I live 10 minutes from the deer fest and have yet to go. Seems I'm always out of town that weekend

I’m not far away either and never been. Always been on vacation that weekend. I don’t imagine Deerfest being an environment where you can really kick the tires like you can at a meetup.

Are you sure it’s in Madison? It looked like they’re having it at west bend which would make more sense to line up with Deerfest.
