You can make super easy slide adjustments on that bridge similar to the aerohunter shrike. We added an elastic keeper over the buckles to keep them quiet while also maintaining their easy adjustments. It doesn’t grab the bridge loops for pitch adjustments as well as the amsteel does and it won’t shorten down as much but you can adjust it on the fly super easily with only one hand and it’s still super light and strong.

Our web page randomly went down today right after the review.. the wife said it crashed from too much activity but I doubt that’s the case lol anyway thanks to the guys who let us know it was down! It’s back up and running now

I was originally planning on replacing the Amsteel with tube webbing and the 2 frame buckles like I've done in the past but this thing is the same amount of metal and offers the adjustability...I traditionally a set it and forget it type and rarely if ever move anything. I know my sweet spot and how to get there....but this thing adjusts sooo easy and smooth maybe I'll mess with it more and be pleasantly surprised and find a bridge length more comfortable than others?...maybe. there wasn't anything wrong with his factory Amsteel bridge at all....I'm just picky and always preferred webbing....I'm not missing the knots either

Any of you guys get the leg strap buckles instead of g hooks? I'm leaning towards buckles, I don't really mind leg straps much. I usually even wear hooked up going in/ out. I'm just being indecisive, I know, but I also want to get it right too

I tagged the 3 guys that I think have the upgraded leg buckles. Perhaps one of them will let you know how easily they adjust ect….

@Horn

I'd would get the Cobra buckles on the leg straps again if I had to do over.

They adjust well and give peace of mind to me.

I have saddles with cobra buckles and with G hooks. In my opinion and experience both are reliable and safe and function very smoothly. The G hooks are lighter and quieter and move around less when walking. The Cobra buckles offer assurance that you’re securely held in the saddle. I tend toward being willing to deal with a little extra weight for added safety. When using a saddle with the Cobra buckles I never once had an issue that made me wish I had the G hooks. It’s really personal preference thing and I don’t think you can go wrong with either, but I’d personally go Cobra.

edit: I adjust leg straps and belt size a lot. Walking in, climbing and in the tree are often different settings for me and I’ve found both cobras And G hooks on wood saddles to be easy access and function smoothly, unlike an un-nameable very mainstream saddle I used to have.
