Worst invasive species in North America

For sure it’s humans.. and while I don’t think it’s another of the “worst”, just wanted to take a moment to express my hatred of buckthorn.

In my woods, it’s Cannabis sativa. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against the plant itself, but wherever it grows, hoop houses, poachers, garbage, piles of human excrement, half-full bottles of insecticide, stream diversions, and general land abuse follow.

Ps those white structures are hoop houses full of cannabis. Photo was taken from a public road. And I just found that pile of garbage on public land next to a recently abandoned grow site.

Ironically I just saw a herd of goats grazing on the side I-55 in S MS on my way to the deer lease! First time for everything

I’m going to have to say this is the worst invasive specie. It popped up on my trail cameras last Sunday. Hopefully there’s no more sightings of it.

Finally have proof of the existence of Sasquatch

Who knew they could ride a bike?

Lol
Hopefully it’s the last Sasquatch picture I get.

Kudzu brought in to the southeast to stop erosion. It’s EVERYWHERE now and no way to stop it as far as I know

You can defeat Kudzu but it's a lot of work. I bought a farm that had a 10 acre field covered in it. Took a long time but it was gone when I sold it and probably the reason I made money on that place.

I’m still resisting

I may be the last hold out from wearing crocs

That’s because here we prefer flip flops. Crocs are usually what the ladies at the doctor office are wearing when they take your blood pressure

I just learned that the honey bee isn't native to north America.

Hence the name "European honey bee"

I stole this pic off the internet....this is 1 of our native bees. I see them daily and have tried to take cool pictures before but I just have a crappy phone. They are a little smaller than a honey bee. They are super cool looking in the sunlight

It may be an unpopular opinion amongst hunters, but wild hogs .... man, if I could wave the proverbial magic wane and make them ALL go away I wouldn't even hesitate. Such a burden on our ecologies and the undisputed scourge of my local landscape.
