let's hear em. the weird, random thoughts you kick around day-dreaming. maybe a fun brain-teaser to get hyped for openers?

Would you rather hunt the same 400 acres in southern Iowa for the rest of your life, and ONLY be able hunt there - or would you rather ONLY be able to hunt public land in the deep south?

Call me crazy but I'll take the challenge of the Southern public land. Iowa would be great, but I'd get burned out on 400 acres pretty fast. I like room to roam.

would you rather sit for 6 hours with frozen feet and hands in 15 degree damp and windy conditions, or in 90+ degrees, humid, and skeeters and gnats constantly buzzing in your ears?
I'd take cold. 90+ is unbearable!

Would you rather only be able to hunt deer and no other game, or only be able to hunt other game but not deer?

I'd take deer.

id take the south, 400 acres is a joke... You know how fast you could burn that out exclusively hunting it? Not to mention how boring it would be on such a small acreage for the rest of your life? i would probably loose interest in hunting and quit... no joke. For me the fun is finding and killing bucks on new land, thats part of the challenge.

I'll have the salad. Lol, both are no fun but I'll take cold over skeeters, I can't sit still to save my life with bugs buzzing me

Iowa 400 acres. I like watching and killing deer. I'd rather hunt deer than hunt for deer. I can go on vacations to hike and explore.
Would you rather see deer every sit or the only deer you see is a nice buck every 2 years?
Every sit.

90+, humid and bugs. I'm more acclimated to that and know how to deal. I've done the frozen thing; not for me.
Little Debbies or completely substandard alternative for treestand snack?
Little Debbies

Both standing in front of you in the wild, would you rather shoot a 170 class buck or a spike?

If I was blessed with 400 acres, I'll be thankful with what I have. My little piece of heaven is better than having the world.

See deer at every sit WITHIN shooting range. Can't think of a worst hell then seeing deer out of range every day for eternity.

90+ degree, bugs never bother me, and the heat would be fine.

While I love deer and venison, I can give it up if life allow me to hunt elk, bear, moose, hog, turkey, rabbit, goat, etc..

Would you rather give up venison jerky or venison crockpot? I would pick eating jerky every time!

I'd give up jerky since I've not successfully made it, and I love the shanks in a crockpot.

Would you still hunt deer if you couldn't eat them after harvesting?
