I dont know how many people remember these, but they were like a ghillie/leafy suit hybrid that was a poncho with arms and a hood. I belive had a couple bungee drawstrings, and the "Bag" doubled as a face mask. IT could also be setup as a wall for a quick blind if wanted. Come on @Allegheny Tom @ricky racer @Heydeerman you guys have to remember this thing... Think Big Jim sold them for a while, but they are since defunct....One of you gear hoarders has to have one collecting dust in the closet!

Dude... I want a bush... in a BAG! Seriously though, this sounds like a legit piece of gear. Make sure you post some pictures when you find one!

Just cause your willing to pay more for a bush.....in a BAG...doesnt mean you'll get it :)

Damnit...why does everyone always want what I want!!!!!

Pretty sure someone here that knows their way around a thread injector could have an opportunity available below…

yeah, I believe one of the originators died....

I've been thinking about making a poncho with a pair of scissors and one of these:

Not as lightweight and packable, but I think a leafy suit falls into the category of "meant to fool hunters" more than "meant to fool game." I just don't think they break up your outline as good. Sucks, because they're way lighter. I've owned several and thrown them all away.

I can't say that I remember that, but then again I can't remember, er, um, duh, what was it we were talking about?

I think a leafy poncho does a hellnof a lot better than a leafy suit as the "shape" isn't human to begin with. If I were you I'd try an ameristep leafy poncho before investing too much time...I think they'd be pretty effective...i just like the arms.

I've been eyeballing one!

Ultimately, the question for me is "If I spend x monies, and y amount of time fooling with the crap, is z extra deer worth it?" I haven't convinced myself that a leafy/ghillie equates to more dead deer than sitting still in the stuff I own. I'm increasing taking my own medicine and diverting all play money into gasoline and tags.

Agreed. But is aby system less than $100 worth a try? Probably....

I want one, but honestly, I've shot six deer already this year w/jean shorts and a tee shirt. It's too hot.
