Xop edge $119 at midwayusa

Tried my buddy’s out the other day. Nice shape, foot room and features. Grips the tree very well and no wiggle. It did feel heavier than others I’ve tried but sturdy as heck.

lighter than the mission... seems like a pretty good deal. wheres it made?

I might buy one just to check it out. Anyone have a free shipping code?

The midway tricks for free shipping of the past no longer work, Somewhere in my room of stuff I have 6 or 7 blowgun dart tip covers because they were .42c but I got free shipping on my order because they were a "free shipping" item hahaha.

Anyone have a solid answer on the actual weight yet? Been eyeing that platform but heard mixed reviews. I’m not exactly a weight snob but I carry enough in the woods to last a week so a bulky platform isn’t ideal. I have a hawk apex now and that’s as heavy as I wanna go

It's about Mission weight but EDP size. With that being said at 135 OTD for a brand new platform that is made from a reputable company (IE not Hawk) is a solid deal.

I also see XOP updated the weight on the website to reflect real-world results from what people were seeing, it now says 5.4 pounds (Midway still does have it listed at 4.5)

As for where it's made, the fact that it's not listed anywhere has me guessing overseas, but that's just speculation.

I got mine over a week ago. Very solid. Little over 5lb on the platform. My DIY platform is 2lb lighter but does not bite into the tree like the xop. So I’m sticking to the xop cause the rigidity of it and and pack where I strap it there isnt much of a feel difference.

I received mine today from Midway and really like the compact, sturdy design even if it is a bit heavy. It fits my size 10 boots with plenty of room to spare and is a really well constructed platform.
