XOP Edge- is it worth it?

I saw this review earlier. I guess the consensus is it’s worth it if you don’t want to / can’t spend a bit more or don’t care about weight.?.

they do include some nice extras.

Yeah it's definitely not the best platform, but it's a great budget option. I mean it has some things I'd change but it's hard to complain at that price

Got mine today. It seems super sturdy but with the xop climbing sticks it’s a pretty heavy combo. I have to figure out how I’m going to attach it all to my cheap pack.

Have you guys figured out how to attach the sticks to the platform? Nothing I’m trying seems like it will work very will

Same. I carry it in my pack. I use WEI steps to climb. I tried attaching it to the outside of my pack with those clips but the straps were too long and it flopped around too much for my liking.

I like it better than my DIY Lone Wolf seat mainly because I couldn’t fold the other one flat. An extra pound-ish isn’t a major issue for me. I am hiking anywhere for 1/4 mile to 3 miles one way. I found my unicorn pack that lets me go hands free and carries the weight well so I’m not complaining. I did swap the strap for a Whoopi sling.

I had the lone wolf and sold it. I thought it was a bit flimsy and not as stable as my Alpha stand.
At half the price this looks better, beefier to me.
Then again, I'm a 1/4" amsteel guy not a 7/64s..
One pound is not a deal breaker for me.
