Yarak saddle by Wild Edge (part 2 included)

So we should expect it up on the wild edge website as of midnight on Saturday?

$280 for just the saddle.

I don’t know how I feel about this whole lottery thing. Seems like crappy idea.

A Lottery? This is out of control. Like nutter buster said, this is getting confusing. I am def out on wildedge stuff.

$280? Now that’s a game changer.

OP, there are two sizes. Up to 27”- 36” and 37” - 46”

Which did you have? What’s your waist? Can you comment on fit?

My guess is they have a very limited run that's going to be available to start shipping on the first week of Sept, and this is their way of trying to make it fair for everyone interested in getting there hands on one this season. We'll find out how well this go's next week i'm sure. I have a Kite on Order, but wouldn't mind owning a yarak either before the season starts since i've been told my Kite won't ship till early October

All the info about the new saddle from Wild Edge. Features, release, shipping, and price. Please like, share, and subscribe!
I don't know, still waiting on steps - constant backordered products is not an appropriate marketing strategy for long term success.

A lottery though??? DUMB!!!

First come first serve!!! How hard is that?

They probably have like 5. Good luck on the 3 month wait. They have 1 product... steps... they can’t even keep up with those orders. This is going to be a disaster...

Y'all are some pessimistic son of a guns... my stepps arrived almost exactly when they said they would when I purchased mine earlier this summer.

I wasn't aware of the lottery release and I still do not know how many will be available. Wish everyone the best of luck. but hey some may think its stupid but everyones talking about it. Negative publicity is still publicity.

Can't say I'm very fond of hearing about the lottery. I guess if all else fails I have an H2 (Heath Hartt) saddle and JX3 to start the season with and a Flex on order.

Yep.
Saddlehunter forum has some of the most helpful, civil, sharing members that a forum could hope to have. This place is great.
Saddle hunting is also a niche style of hunting. It certainly isn't mainstream and it isnt big-box, Chinese, cater to the masses, type of gear manufacturing and marketing.
Geeze, it wasnt very many years ago that a lot of this gear was only DIY. As interest grew, some didicated SADDLE HUNTERS (as opposed to gear marketers) saw a growing need to provide some commercially available, quality products.
I feel extremely blessed that those guys have taken the lead.
Ive been hunting deer for 48 seasons and frankly, before I learned about the new generation saddle gear, hunting was starting to become the same old, same old ho hum.
Saddles have lit a new fire and enthusiasm under me for hunting.
I would advise anyone who is displeased with the current state of gear availability, that they can always go to Cabelas, Gander Mt, etc and settle for the same old crap that became boring to me.
For those that want to dedicate themselves to saddles...have some patience. The wait for gear to ship will be worth it and the market for used stuff is still very strong. I bought and sold my Flex for the exact amount I paid. I didn't lose a dime.

Now, its time to go glass the fields. There are some real slammers this year. I can't wait for the prime time hang.

A note about business development. The Chinese (or several others in textile business for that mater), will build anything you want as fast as you want in whatever size runs that you want. The manufacture just needs the business acumen to go over there and have it arranged and the financial capital to pay for it (which is available in several forms including your hard earned customer deposits).

I get if they have start up issues but that should last only a few months. Otherwise, it’s just poor customer service. People are rightfully indigent when they provide a decent chunk of money to a retailer or manufacture without anything in return other than a promise of we’ll get your product as soon as we can. It sounds like AH is at least communicating with there customers which will pay off dividends when they screw up and are unable to deliver. Other manufactures are not doing this.

Still waiting on mine. Actually, I waited to even buy them for 3 years because they have never been off backorder. I just never told them that I was interested. I tried to purchase a set at the PA sportsman’s show but they ran out there too. Guess they can’t figure out how to forecast. Looks like a good product but there are a lot of ways to climb a tree. I wonder how much revenue has been lost due to customers moving onto other products. I finally broke down to get into there system of dissatisfaction and order a set. Still waiting.

Sorry to hear that man! You should contact them directly as I'm sure they would do everything they can to provide good costumer service and resolve your order issue.
