I can speak on behalf of falls also, my grandfather had to get medivac'd via chopper from the middle of the woods for a ladder stand kicking out on him. Never thought that would happen, but its an odds game and I'm a betting man.

Your not hurting yourself by being unsafe(not yet) but you are setting a very bad example for the young hunters of tomorrow that are watching your videos wishing they were on You tube shooting deer from 20 Ft. up.

This problem will all be solved this season men, I am switching to one sticking, in which even if I had a choice I would still stay tied in at all times! So, this should no longer be a problem.

Agreed, that is why I say don't do what I am doing because it is not safe. Right as you posted this I dropped another comment, give it a look! Shouldn't be a future issue now.

Didn't mean to bust your chops but I have fallen 16 Ft. from a tree stand as a youngster and just by the grace of God I wasn't seriously hurt. I also know I guy in a wheelchair that fell from about 15 Ft. So I'm very happy to hear that.

It's allllll good. I take everyone's input seriously and put emotion aside and listen to logic. Reading a lot of these resposes has me 2nd guessing for when I do use a full set of sticks!
 
One thing about this site is everybody is safety conscious and I like it because these guys care even if you are a total stranger. So don't take it wrong. Definitely not meant to be mean spirited, just concern. Great pics!

While I think about jumping from platforms of stands ive hung never owning a safety harness to make sure i get that limb over there broke cause its in my wanted shooting hole then shimmering down the tree

Exactly! Ive done some stupid stuff WAY up a tree in my life. Now Im 51, bad knees, Im careful now because I have to be. But my inner young man still thinks he's a tree monkey.
 
I didn’t watch all of your videos and it mostly looks ok. 4k is nice but 1080p is about all the resolution someone can appreciate on their home computers. Poor audio will run more people off than poor content. A nice lapel mike is expensive but at the least try to make sure you can hear it when editing.

I was thinking that too, 1080p seems to be enough, thanks for the advice!
