forgive my ignorance, are those herbicides?Sprayed my access trails down the property line with 24D and Triclopyr. Nice quiet access in the dark with no flashlight is awesome. I can get to 100% (over 20) of my presets without a flashlight as long as its not total black conditions. LOVE ME SOME PRESETS
Yesforgive my ignorance, are those herbicides?
He’s doing it to keep the weeds and growth off of his access trail. I’ve heard of private land guys doing that as part of their spring prep workforgive my ignorance, are those herbicides?
If you wanted, I would have swapped out the open bridge for the standard one. Just curious if you the original or deluxe saddle?I recently bought a virtually new Wood saddle as my early season/backup. It came with an open Amsteel bridge connecting with a carabiner. Not a fan, so I ended up ordering a rope replacement from Hang Free. 8mm Oplux with a TRC sewn loop for the prusik. There were no instructions with the HF rope bridge, so I ended up going back to the website and looking at their photo, plus a very brief 'suggestion' on tying it up in the product description. It took me a couple tries, but I got it figured out and tested it last night a bit. With the addition of some saddle accessories I had in 'stock' from customizing my Overwatch saddle, the Wood is set up and ready for some real testing in the field.
I knew a well regarded SH member built the Wood saddles and they received good reviews, so when I ran across this one virtually unused, I could not pass it up. No idea you still worked on them or had parts. Thanks for reaching out and I will keep you in mind if I have further questions. I am a fan of the 8mm predator that hang free is selling. A great bridge option would be that or oplux (2 pieces, one at 38” long and one at 24”) with a 8” eye so you can girth hitch the sides. Tie the 24” into a Blake’s hitch onto the 38” long then tie a stopper knot on each. You get a strong and even adjustable bridge that isn’t amsteel and would be super easy to adjust
Yes, broadleaf killers. I like them to be grassy to avoid erosion.forgive my ignorance, are those herbicides?
Yes sir that’s the original. I don’t really work on them anymore or build or sell anymore, but for any member of this forum, I’m willing to help out anyway I can.I knew a well regarded SH member built the Wood saddles and they received good reviews, so when I ran across this one virtually unused, I could not pass it up. Do you find condensation to be an issue sleepling in the back of your enclosed pickup in the falltime? My dad and I used to do that on air matresses many years ago in the back of his pickup and I recall waking up in the morning with the inside top dripping wet. Maybe alone vs two guys there might not be enough to worry about?Finished making the bed frame for my mobile hunting/camping rig in my Tundra. Basically went off the Greg Godfrey template. Easy and functional. Put the bed rug in over the weekend. I’ll probably remove the bed frame and paint it to match the carpet.
