Congratulations Red that's awesome.Success!!!
Man wish i was could have been there, Congratz!!! this group and you guys are great, i am hooked on saddle hunting.I can't say enough about what a blast this trip has been! Awesome group of hunters, and a few really tough days of hunting! @wood wesley wish you could have stayed.
I'm glad I got to help out @redsquirrel and @Jcar find that beautiful stag! I think the meat will be fine, it wasn't bloated laid in cool water all night(head was out, body half in) we found it at 1100.
I couldn't drag or lift much due the back surgery, currently limited to 25lbs lol. A lot of work to get that beast out, red and jcar went into beast mode!
I'm already thinking about a repeat trip later this fall, lol.
Here are a few pics.

Thank you guys! I thought he was something special after I shot. I called my dad and told him I thought I shot a giant. I didn't want to post that here and jinx myself lol. We worked our butts off for that guy. 1.5 miles back and of course 1.5 miles on the drag back out. He weighed more than we expectedThat’s a stag of a lifetime bud, congratulations!!! That stag is probably 6-8 years old. Guys hunt for years trying to shoot something like that
