Ghillie Suit for bow hunting

I've heard good things about these and have thought about it a few times:
http://ranchosafari.com/product/shaggie-bow-hunter-deluxe/
I spent the whole day researching the various makers of Ghillie Suits. Some aren't made any more, others were difficult to find out information. Many are too small to put over insulated clothing let alone a large framed man. I ended up going with ranchosafari. I called and actually spoke for a long time with the owner. Hands on kind of guy. Got his recommendations and he told me all about the suit. Went with a Long Jacket.
This company was quite a little more expensive that some, but I like that the hood in not attached to the suit, making it easier to turn you head and not end up looking at the inside of the hood as often happens with attached hoods. It also has enough girth to go over all my cold weather gear and has synch cords to pull in the excess when you don't have all that on underneath of it.
Can't wait to get it in the field. I'm hunting a scrape and need a rare east wind to do so. Otherwise it's tucking myself into the corn which this will allow me to do and remain close enough to the edge of the corn to be able to make a shot and not be pick off right away with traditional camouflage.
Thanks for all the inputs.

I have a few of their catquiver packs, and have conversed via email with the owner as well--who has been very cordial and informative. Looking forward to your review!

Apparently they don't have any in stock. are they big enough to put over heavy camo or cold weather clothing? You don't use the pants, correct?

I actually have stopped using the pants Bc I’m kneeling or sitting. Mine is large and I do have room for clothes underneath.

Are you tight enough with them to ask them to contact someone who has questions about their suits?

I actually got mine from Marc years ago.

Another option might have been making one. That way you can tailor it a bit. They are a pain in the butt to make but it has its advantages. Its good to hear other people are using the Ghillie suit too. Can't wait to hear how it works for you.

I wasn’t about to embark on that project.

I really like the looks of the Marc Anthony jacket, but I don't see an option for left handed. I also don't see a phone # or email address on the website to ask. Anyone know if they offer it in left handed??

If you read the previous messages I mentioned how I talked to someone at the company and they don’t have any left and don’t plan to make any more. Sales were not good enough to justify having more made. I suppose there is a minimum order.

Sorry # 17 I only say they’re out of stock. It must have been on the Archery Talk thread where I reported what I found from talking to Juan at Bkackink, same owner as Bushrag. He told me they don’t have any left and they won’t be making more. They were not a good seller. I wish they’d take the picture down on the web site if they aren’t going to have them to sell. The number for Juan at Black ink is: 800-898-8577. Nice guy.
My apologies. I had two threads going on this all day.
