Thanks for pointing that "wearing" out. Interesting thing is that the board in that picture was a prototype that I never hunted out of nor did I even install on a step other than a few times at ground level to take those pics. Maybe I climbed once and installed at height before @fbwguy figured out the no hole version.

Are you just messing with us? Sounds pretty sweet, how much does the 3/4 inch plywood one weigh?Just so everyone knows, it was not me that came up with the design for the insertable step. I just ran with the idea. It has been fantastic though. All the input, ideas and improvements by the guys on this forum are incredible. Coming soon to a posting near you, my Carbon Fiber insertable platform!
