I’ll pass on the hogs! I’m just fine sticking whitetails with arrowsI would gladly trade a million hogs if it meant 30% of our deer population would grow to be as large as yours lol

Hunted only public in LA for seven years. Absolutely crap hunting in my experience. With some of the main WMAs having 1/46 effort ratings or worse. Meaning 46 efforts are made for everyone one success. Private land is a different story.Man I don’t know where in Louisiana you’re hunting but we’ve got plenty of deer out here in these swamps and pine thickets! We do have to sort through a lot of hogs in spots but adding those to the contest is just going to make it harder for the mods to keep track of everyone’s kills. Contest is just for fun and bragging rights anyway!
Man I hunt a lot of the WMAs in Louisiana and they’re tough, but they’ve still got plenty of deer. On some of those WMAs that people claim have no deer, I see deer every hunt. Instead of trying prove how hard it is hunting in Louisiana, do some more e scouting and find those WMAs with higher deer populations and higher effort ratings. Why bother going back to those spots you believe are crap and have low hunter success rates when there’s plenty of other WMAs in Louisiana with lots of good deer. Trust me I know Louisiana is tough but if you’re only seeing that small amount of deer every season you’re doing something wrong. Either you’re hunting the crappiest WMAs in the state or something elseHunted only public in LA for seven years. Absolutely crap hunting in my experience. A lot of my hunting days were limited to close wmas. Sometimes that means the difference of getting a hunt in at all. But I did do some of the better rated ones Dewey will boeuf etc. You definitely can find the deer there and I have seen them. But it’s tough as you say. Not a problem for me anymore though. I moved away from that state and am glad to be gone. But I definitely sympathize with the poster that asked for hogs to be added.Man I hunt a lot of the WMAs in Louisiana and they’re tough, but they’ve still got plenty of deer.
